Holy Week Schedule

Join us at First United Methodist Church of Kaufman to experience the love, suffering and the sorrow in the anticipation of the Joy that Easter brings.  Let us Rejoice in the miracle of Easter, and the true story of a God who loves so greatly that He gave everything for you.

Palm Sunday, 13

As we enter into Holy Week, preparing to witness to Jesus' experience of trial, death, and resurrection, we look to him as our example. By looking to Jesus, the life we are building comes together.

Let us join the celebration, “Hosanna to the Son of David!  Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”  Matthew 21:19.

Good Friday, April 18

Even as we prepare to celebrate the joy of Easter Sunday, Good Friday is a profound and important reminder of the weight of Jesus' sacrifice and of his love for humanity.

This night marks the beginning of the most solemn part of the painful process to the cross with our Lord and master. The purpose is to recreate the betrayal, abandonment, arrest, conviction and agony of the events leading to the cross.

Will you walk with Jesus to the cross?

Service @ 6:00 pm

Easter Sunday Celebration, April 20

We celebrate the Lamb who was slain, Jesus Christ, our Savior.  He is Risen.  He is Risen Indeed.  Alleluia!

We hope you will start your Easter Sunday with us at First United Methodist-Kaufman and proclaim the good news that Christ has Risen; He IS Risen indeed!  We celebrate the joy of Christ’s resurrection, God’s ultimate triumph over death and the gift of eternal life with a special message of hope and inspiring, beautiful music.  We invite you and your whole family to join us in the Celebration of Easter in our sanctuary @ 10:15 am and may you feel the love that God gave you when He conquered death.
