Nutrition on the Weekend BackPack Ministry

Our local backpack program helps hungry children by providing them with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food to take home on the weekends when other resources are not available. Each Friday OP Norman Jr. High distributes food to 23 participating children (10 girls & 13 boys). The program has an ongoing need and has asked for our help in donating items.

Kaufman Christian Help Center "The Center"

Please bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the center. You may bring by the church office, or drop into box in fellowship hall.

Scouting Ministry

FUMC supports our Cub, Boy, and Girl Scouting programs. These ministries teach our children and youth spiritual and characater development, citizenship, and self-reliance through work on service projects and activities. They learn new skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. Scouting also connects them to nature, provides leadership opportuities and builds healthy mentor and peer relationships.
